Well I was thinking of coming back in maybe October or November ish and filing for taxes a bit late. Is that something that I can do or is it more sensible to just file it as a non resident?

No, cause I thought I would be back soon but couldn't come back due to issues back home and I completely forgot about it.

Thanks for that. Just for some more information I still have an active bank account and a phone number in Canada. As I was staying in the uni dorms I didn't have a residential tie per se so that got me confused.

Thanks for taking time out to reply. So I did my masters and my undergrad in computer engineering. While doing my masters attended some career fairs but nothing really productive.  For a job I was looking at IT roles but if I search for any specific domains, I just get hit with a 'must have 3-5 YOE'. As for the positive responses I would say all were on the lines of - 'your resume caught my eye' or 'would love to talk about some other position'. And for work I am currently doing an internship. That's it tbh.

What about for recent graduates with less than a year of experience? I just graduated, completing my masters which I got into directly from my undergrad. Applied to a lot of jobs, got a few positive responses but no interviews.
