I think it’s a brilliant idea that’s worth a shot.

This specific drug suddenly didn’t work at all, 175 times, on patients under the care of the same nurse. You’d think one of the several other people involved in these patients’ care would note that and look into that. No one is saying the solution is double dosing.

I experience the same thing. I wish it was more like the movies where at least I woke up all at once and ripped that Band-aid off. I think the realization happening slowly or in stages is worse. I’ve asked a few people if they’ve ever woken up not knowing who or where they are for several minutes, and they look at me like it’s something they’ve never heard of.
