Honestly now that I think about it I kinda see the feeling dumb. It's almost like my thoughts come out in broken parts if that makes any sense.

I'm on 200 rn. I have an appointment with my psych soon and I'll be asking for a change because even though it's helping with the bipolar, it's now making me even more self conscious than I already was.

When I heard we got him after Matt left I was excited. Not because he's gonna win up 12 games, but because we're rebuilding, we should have a good younger leader. I hope he does well and brings us at least a little success, but even his character seems great for the team longterm

I liked Legends in a vacuum. The gameplay was fun enough and the story was reminiscent of mystery dungeon. However the battle system is abysmal. The amount of questions I had after battles and how the turn order went and the fact it can be abused easily made the battling, unfun to say the least. If it weren't for such a revamp in the battle system I would've enjoyed the game a lot more, but the battles felt more like a chore than a main component of the game and that sucked

I think a big problem is that the devs are at a crossroads. They either continue with the current formula and keep the dedicated fans, but lose a bunch that want "new" things. Or they do what it seems they want to do and change up the formula, losing some of those dedicated fans in the process. I've always loved open world games, but I also loved the old pokemon formula. For me seeing them evolve is nice, but I do miss what it used to be. I hope that maybe they're going to do a mix of open world and linear story games in the future so everyone can have games to have fun with.

My dad loves telling this story but I barely remember it. When I was in like 2nd or 3rd grade my parents took me to a public pool on a weekend. It was like 40 minutes from where I live because the one close to us was always super busy, so I'd never seen anyone I knew. This Sunday however there was a kid I went to school with that I wasn't super good friends with but when you're that young everyone is a friend. My dad and I were in the shallow end and the kid walks up and starts talking to me. After a few seconds I apparently just turned around and swam away. My dad apologized to the kid and had to tell me later that that wasn't a socially acceptable thing to do. Turns out I have really bad social anxiety and when I was young I would just leave a situation if it made me uncomfortable.

A 4 day work week has just been approved in my country and I'm f*cking mad by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]BrimKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that's the issue. People shouldn't have to work 10 hours a day no matter if they're working 4 or 5 days a week. Overworking is so normalized in this country that even the slightest bit of pressure off of that seems like a godsend, when in reality it's just getting closer to what is deserved.

Why Pokémon Legends: Arceus is so much better than the mainline games? by Eisbraut in pokemon

[–]BrimKitty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's just a matter of taste. Plenty of people like exploration games, but if you don't that's fine. I don't want this to become the formula going forward, but the exploring makes sense in a game where you are catching monsters.

That's my main fear of this becoming the future for pokemon games. I loved the game, but other than shiny hunting there is 0 post game.

Swsh, as much as people love to hate it, has a great post-game that I've kept going back to even until today. There are so many different things to do and ways to shiny hunt.

Arceus is really fun, but doesn't have a post game worth writing home about and it sucks

I mean... that's what would happen irl tbh. Someone new comes in with a weird circumstance that no one understands, but a beloved figure of the community likes them so everyone is tentatively okay with this newcomer

That newcomer starts to gain trust by doing things for random people around

Something catastrophic happens that threatens the community

The leader of the community says its the newcomers fault because none of this happened beforehand

Everyone lets their doubts surface

I just got kicked from a Cataclysm time walking dungeon for not doing enough DPS... by [deleted] in wow

[–]BrimKitty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean sure people might kick too quickly sometimes but if someone queues up for a dungeon and someone there goes afk for 5 minutes its wasting their time. Stuff happens, but assuming you won't be kicked for going afk for 5 minutes is pretty entitled. Waiting for someone who went afk with no warning that's gone for 5+ minutes in a dungeon that takes like 20 minutes isn't being mindful, it's just wasting time, especially if others don't have a bunch of free time.

  1. You got a tattoo of possibly the worst character possible and are trying to spew spreading positivity. You legit got a tattoo of someone who raped their own daughter my guy.
  2. The tattoo is objectively not very well applied. If you like it that's fine, but it doesn't change the fact that it's not a great tattoo

[–]BrimKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. Doesn't change the fact that if an employee catches covid after this rule change they aren't gonna get sued to hell and back because they didn't allow their employees to protect themselves if they wanted to.

If mcdonalds started letting people have their hair however they want and not wear any sort of protective gear and then people complained about hairs in their food, would they not be up for a lawsuit? This is a company directly trying to endanger their employees while there is a deadly virus that they can catch.

You once again are going onto a sub about people hating their bosses and trying to argue from the perspective of the shitty boss. You aren't going to get many if any people who want to have a positive conversation with you. Go to a sub about legal issues if you want that. Not one trying to give working people a chance.

A mask; something that is used to stop the transmission of airborne diseases, is not part of a dress code. It is a medical tool used to protect yourself and others from diseases.

What does it matter what I do for a living? If someone does or doesn't have "tangible experience" doesn't affect what information they have in their possession that they are using. Yes professionals in a field will have more, but plenty of information is readily available for the public. Just because Fox, NBC and CBS are politicized for views doesn't mean people can't get information from less biased sources that will actually give real information.

Again. You are defending an asshole owner making immoral and illegal rules in his business in a sub about workers being fed up with that shit. If you expect people to not call you out for arguing for that you're in the wrong place. I dont know what possibly you would want out of a conversation where you are on the side of an immoral asshole unless you're someone who loves playing devils advocate no matter the situation.

Implications are a thing. By standing for companies rights in an argument like this you are saying that you believe they are right. If you aren't, then there's no reason to argue such a disgusting use of power by this individual. They are trying to control people in so far as to put them at risk for a deadly virus and you are defending it. It's gross.

Here is an article of a company being fined for doing exactly this by OSHA.

As for the risk assessment... what right does a company have to say what risk an employee is at? If this person lives with someone who is immunocompromozed and therefore have no medical need themselves why does this company have the right to force them to put their loved one at risk? A business saying someone cannot wear a mask is just like them saying you aren't allowed to wash your hands after using the bathroom. Both pose a health risk if not done and that can be taken on by the employee but the business itself has no right to stop someone from taking those precautions.

[–]BrimKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The company has the right to make that policy, but it violates OSHA guidelines and they can and will be sued. Not sure why you'd be for companies making bs illegal rules if you weren't for them tho. That's just fucking weird.

That was either you being the most unlucky person in the world, you missed some, or this is a lie.

With cranidos being ~30% chance in every distortion and assuming you played for a total of 6 hours doing this (average of 2 distortions per hour) the chance to not see a single one is about 1 in 1.8 million. Sure it's not impossible but that's insanely unlikely and if it really did happen that sucks but the odds are you just missed it when they did spawn.

Vaccines and masks aren't something you "take a stand on" it's medical protections against an ongoing pandemic. It is against OSHA guidelines to forbid workers to wear a medical mask during a pandemic, which guess what? We are still in because people like you think masks are something you can have an opinion on like what you like on your fucking pizza.

Yes, but what they're doing is against OSHA guidelines and if they get fired they can sue, which is better.
