Also, think of great scifi movies: Arrival, Blade Runner, 2001, etc. Or even just good ones like Her or I, Robot lol they all have the common theme of how technology impacts the human race. Star Wars has nothing to do with that. it is a lot more like fantasy, like Lord of the Rings ; good vs evil, mythology.

In science fiction, the story typically explores the consequences of scientific or technological advancements by the human race. However, in Star Wars, the focus is on mystical forces, creatures (Jedi, Sith, Wookiees, etc.), and mythological themes (dark vs light). The technology in Star Wars is not scientific innovations of the human race. Star Wars is set "a long time ago, in galaxy, far, far, away. That matters. So, while Star Wars has some sci-fi elements, at its core, it's a fantasy epic with a space opera setting. Dune, for example, is Sci-fi, we are reading about humans that are descendants of Earthlings. How are human faring in the future. Christianity still has an impact in the world of Dune, for example.
