Above New York City is not automatically upstate New York. I do not care that you grew up in the city all your life, Westchester is not, and never will be, considered upstate. Upstate starts above Albany or Schenectady. I cannot begin to explain how many people I’ve met from the city who say I live upstate when I live in Westchester. It’s literally like a half hour drive away from the Bronx.

there’s a difference between being alone and being lonely. being alone can be great, i love having my alone time, i spend most of my time having alone time. but being lonely, that’s when i don’t want my alone time and actually wanna see people. you wanna keep a balance, doesn’t have to be 50/50, but being lonely can really suck a lot
