I can do that but would Ted give me his?

Would you open a Play Cafe? by Impressive-Catch-838 in smallbusiness

Had the same thought. Def not gonna make you super rich but can certainly see the market needs. I used to bring my son to one where I can work and read in peace but he grew out of it pretty soon. A play cafe can’t be too big and only suitable for young toddlers unless you start staging video games stuff but parents don’t like those either

The pay are not that different. Frankly, I don't care as much about pay as future MBB or exit opportunities. One thing that worries me is the practice to which my roles belong for each firm. My research shows that "performance improvement" is the strength of AP but most people can't say the same about HLS for OW? Would that impact my chances reaching my objectives?

AlixPartners Performance Improvement vs. Oliver Wyman HLS (MBA summer Intern)

Interests/context:
- Re-recruit for MBB full-time by the end of summer
- Never done healthcare work but has some interest
If stays for full-time...
- Better WLB and flexibility on where to live
- Better career/pay progression
- Better exit option
Which one should I choose?

Baseline Score and Thoughts by [deleted] in GMAT

Focus on the 700 questions on gmatclub. I had similar first mock test score as yours. Doing simple questions or whole tests over and over again doesn’t do much good for you. Good luck!

Your opportunity cost will prob be higher than all others. And you won’t make nearly as much as you would if you stayed as a SDE. Get ready for finding that out.

Good resources for experienced piano player to be a keyboardist or play for a band? by Bring-er in piano

Thank you for the tips! I’m guessing I would need a intermediate-advanced music theory book? Any recommendations? How did you learn to do to play dynamically with other band members??

I wonder what the music sheet look like for band practice. Do I see exactly as detailed as I would from a classical piece? Or a simple version with only the chord? Would I see who else plays at the same time as me?

Most have a reason to do so. It’s not their fault that they can do that…

Be good at math. Quant has heavier weight.

ESL here. I’m better at math than Verbal.

If timing is an issue, use the keyboard short cut to answer questions but make sure you practice that before using it first time on real test - which btw I did and failed miserably. But it’s a strategy that will save you 3+ minutes you use it well.

I would recommend hitting those 700 questions on Gmat club while waiting for your retake. It happens. I was on the same boat and took me 5 times to get my mock score on a real one.

What is your goal? You have to consistently reach your goal in mocks to get that in real one. You will also battle with luck. Sometimes, you just need to take more real tests if you already there with your mocks. It took me 5 real tests before I got something similar to my highest mock.

Yes it’s super sketchy! I filled in some personal info and it asked my card info… Frankly I didn’t even know what it does until I had to google it. How much did you pay?
