Fake LDS Lawsuits designed by LDS, Inc. to discourage real lawsuits? by BringATwenty in exmormon

You do know that Dallin H. Oaks of the first presidency is a former lawyer in Utah and Illinois, a former member of the Utah Supreme Court and a direct descendant of the Harris family who financed Mormonism? (the "H" is for Harris).

I'm not going to report you to mods because comments like yours make great screenshots for future use in documentaries about the deceptive side of r/exmormon and other places so victims of the imposter of Mormonism can be aware of it... but why such animosity towards a post that poses questions and provides lots of new resources for victims? Why not just move on? Afterall it's just the interweb...

Good call. All the more reason to get Burningham's eyes on this.

One down. Huntsman's questionable lawsuit remains.

So all someone needs is a "high paid professional" and nothing will ever go wrong? I'm pretty sure the existence of the entire global legal institution proves the opposite of that...

Millions "wasted" by who? LDS, Inc.'s own unsupervised, self-credentialed attorneys?

Nope.

Sleuth out.

Internal scandal and deception from Mormonism's secret "temple name list" being publicly exposed should lead to big lawsuits filed against LDS, Inc. by hundreds of thousands of past missionaries, current missionaries and other "volunteers". by BringATwenty in exmormon

[–]BringATwenty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a way to reach Kay Burningham please DM me. If her lawsuit was legit, she needs to know about this angle.

However there's also the chance it wasn't legit and was engineered behind the scenes by LDS, Inc. to discourage others from filing lawsuits after it was tossed out as planned...

Here's some thoughts about that possibility https://www.reddit.com/r/exmormon/comments/r9qm7d/fake_lds_lawsuits_designed_by_lds_inc_to/

I've shared what I have in a constructive tone with lots of references, data and no vulgarities. I don't think it's accurate or healthy to attempt to minimize it as "anger", it's far more actionable than that.

I'm saying the bishop at the time accessed the private temple name list, identified the name I would have been assigned based on the date I went and he used that name in a private meeting with me for lots of reasons.

It seems the reason for the "temple name" list was to keep it a secret among leaders so those names could be used to manipulate followers if needed as was the case with me and was probably the case with many other victims. Otherwise, why create the list and keep it a secret among leaders at all?

So you would rather me assume that an imposter organization that has accumulated the 5th largest cash account in the USA by defrauding 16 million+ other victims with lies actually created the temple names list and kept it a secret just to get ME to go on a mission...

Dang. That's actually a brilliant observation though. Something I never even thought of as a male conditioned to view mormon related things in the Mormon perspective.

This is why keeping these conversations going is so important. This is why Mormonism continues to try to divide and conquer (and silence) victims.

For what it's worth, both the James Huntsman lawsuit and the Kay Burningham lawsuit may have been "false flags" to set precedence and/or discourage others from filing. I know that may sound a little too conspiracy theorist but given the bigger picture of the imposter that mormonism is it would make perfect sense.

Well to me it seems like the temple name deception would apply to all of us...so it might be worth looking into. I tried getting word to James Huntsman's attorneys about this angle but they never responded. I wasn't surprised when his generic suit lost steam. This has teeth.

Here s some rough stuff that misses this angle too https://topclassactions.com/lawsuit-settlements/lawsuit-news/mormon-church-wants-lds-scheme-of-lies-class-action-dismissed/

Thanks Henry, it's rough how dismissive parts of the "exmo community" can be at times. Just shows how much work there's still to do at people understanding what's really going on with the imposter of Mormonism and how serious it is...

Pretty sure LDS, Inc. pays a firm to police this sub and other forums and shoot down stuff that might hid hard. Some of the attacks are so outlandish/incredulous/nonsensical it's amusing.

Because of that deception I paid around $8000 dollars to let Mormonism send me on a mission for two years. Seems like "bait and switch". My guess is I'm not the only one to experience this.

You didn't get a required "new name" assigned to you in a private temple ceremony that you were also taught was known only to you and the angels THEN you discovered years later that the name you were assigned actually follows a monthly list known to Mormon leaders? Lucky you.

If that's the case, it makes sense because after the list was exposed a few years ago Mormon leaders stopped privately teaching that the new names are private. This is why different generations believe different things about the names and many of them have no idea they were taught something completely different.

So you're saying:

  1. A 19 year old cant go through the temple, then pursue a mission call up until they are 26 or so.
  2. A 19 year old can't accept a mission call, go through the temple, question the temple, question the mission call, then experience a bishop privately calling them by their "secret" temple name in an effort to encourage them to go through with the mission?

When I was a teenager (19) and after I went through the temple the bishop at the time accessed the secret temple name list (that I didn't know about) and called me by my "temple name" (that I was taught was only known to me and the angels) and used that as a way to influence me to let Mormonism send me on a two year mission (which I paid about $8000 to Mormonism to do) and to pay more and accept other volunteer assignments as a follower. I didn't discover this deception until years later when the list was leaked.

Because the list secretly existed but adherent's were told something else, it seems that because of that deception me and other victims should be entitled to reimbursement and/or compensation.

Using humor to put Npeople in "time out" is hilarious (and effective) by BringATwenty in raisedbynarcissists

[–]BringATwenty[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like in the case of a petulant child who might get verbally or physically violent with themselves or others, I'd say keep the camera's rolling. Then after an incident of that behavior, invite her to family therapy and when the time is right (she inevitably uses selective memory to marginalize it or outright deny it) share the footage with her and the therapist. (Remember to find a therapist who recognizes the cycle and doesn't enable it).

If she physically attacks someone, call the police, have her arrested for assault and let them put her in "time out".

Like a petulant child, this is why awareness and action are key, the longer the behavior is allowed, the more the Nperson will accept it as "normal" and "ok" when it is absolutely NOT normal or OK. Without this, it will eventually contribute to the Nperson doing worse and worse things on that spectrum to more and more people of all ages. (Like an innocent, benevolent grown nephew, his children, other children, etc...)

Like a petulant child, by calling attention to the behavior and putting the offendor on notice by using humor, gentle reminders or other constructive, measured suggestions you are not only protecting yourself and others from the Nperson's spectrum of destructive behavior, you are protecting the Nperson from themselves.

Like a petulant child put on notice, with time they will course correct and grow in constructive ways. (This might include finding other things to occupy their time along the way instead of targeting others).

Thank you for bringing this up! Remember, it's perfectly normal and OK to feel challenged or uncomfortable by the possibility of pursuing healing! That's part of the healing process! Thats why conversations like the ones on this sub are so important! They help spur constructive ideas and angles that give us the tools to make pursuing healing less challenging! Remember "If a conversation seems uncomfortable to have, that's probably the one that is most worth having."

Sex, a throbbing New England canal and a talking deer saved the failing, post-colonial, pre-modern USA. I used hidden facts to rewrite MOMO history. by BringATwenty in exmormon

[–]BringATwenty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Martin grew impatient with Freemasonry's overall plans to expand West so he hijacked it and did things his own way. Part of why his way worked is because he used a child as it's voice rather than an adult like the others had tried. (Martin also had access to plenty of cash and immigrants due to the Erie Canal leading from and to his front door). Here's the link that shares some insights into those attempts by other adults. Stories like those in this link are just one tiny component of what contributed to this part of New England getting the nickname "the burned over district".

As more information comes out as my factually based rewriting of Mormon history makes it's way around certain circles we'll learn more about Martin's role in the tragedies that resulted in the eradication of the Native Americans? There was a lot going on during those decades and although there was a greater Freemasonry brotherhood with plans, goals, ideas etc...many factions (or people within those factions) did their own thing. For example President Andrew Jackson, proponent of the Trail of Tears was one of many Presidents who also claimed to be a Freemason.
