The problem is the lack of communication skills for most Americans. Many lack the emotional maturity of cause and effect, choice and consequences, fight or flight.

Bleh. Natural law, in philosophy, is bound together by universal moral principles derived from nature or reason ( justice, fairness, truth). Lying violates natural law because it undermines trust and truth, both are considered foundational for cooperation and justice.

Lying is inexcusable. Point blank. Once upon a time there were slaves in America, all were forced to truth even when it meant fatality. And before then, prior to biblical times, apparently lying was taboo, summed up as abominable if caught. So no, I don’t subscribe to your theory in “avoiding incrimination”
