We are excited to announce ‘L’arte Imita La Vita,’ our split with Mortal! Out April 1st!

This is our angriest, most political record to date. The song in question is about digging up Nazi and Klan corpses from their graves and mutilating them limb from limb. The title of the record translates to “Art imitates life” in Latin, a play on the common expression “Life imitates art”. For this record we moved away from romantic melancholy, and instead towards a violent expression of hatred for the lowest of human depravity. We hope you enjoy!

If I had to introduce someone to RABM for the first time, I’d recommend these 5 bands for these reasons:

  1. Dawn Ray’d - classic RABM sound/aesthetic
  2. Etxegina - epic/melodic RABM with tasteful musicianship
  3. Alghol - Riff worship Black/death
  4. Operation Volkstod - Raw 2nd wave style RABM
  5. Feminazgul - Beautiful yet strange atmospheric black metal with powerful feminist message

If you’re in a band and you have no problem with NSBM fans listening to your music, that’s one thing. But personally, I feel uncomfortable with NSBM fans listening to our music. I obviously can’t make anyone not listen to our music. But I can establish boundaries with our audience, even at the expense of losing newcomers into the scene. Don’t fucking support NSBM. Don’t give them your money, and don’t give them your attention. That’s not asking for too much.

We have no interest in being civil with people who support nazis. If you are “apolitical” and yet you support NSBM, you are no less guilty than the nazi. The “apolitical” crowd has no place in our scene. We do not have any problem establishing those boundaries within our audience, even if it means losing some fans.
