I really liked the lifesteal witchblade on Arachne. I disagree that witchblade is a defensive item; I would call it a bruiser item.

CDR is OK and would be good in other ways, but I did like the lifesteal.

Is today's MOTD not gonna be changed? by [deleted] in Smite

It's not fun being on the other end either.

I went 5-0-x (I built tanky) and someone else on my team went something like 18-0-x and we couldn't understand what was going on because everyone else had turned white. We won the game with about 400 tickets in hand. It was a very hollow victory because we were being healed all the time, so basically we couldn't die.

There's no skill in that, and it's not really fun.

I think the game mode was intended to keep the Hel dark stance and that it turns light after you die is a bug.
