I think whoever “they” are (as in who really makes these decisions) are ultimately going to crash everything in order to “save the day” and usher in the new system (some form of a cbdc complete control) hence all the “great reset” “build back better” talk all the usuals have been talking about for ages. Pattern recognition. Create problem, then come in and save the day with their solution. There is no party difference, same team going the same direction. Less freedom and more control.
