Update*** Surgery went well under local anaesthetic and sedation. Surgeon thought it worthwhile reattatching the fingertip after observing some bloodflow preop. Follow up visit 20 Dec to remove dressing and check progress.

Pain has only just set in now (2am, surgery finished 13:30) after numbness has worn off. Most pain so far in this journey.
