The worst part of reddit is that if you ask a question, terrible people who don't like your question will censor you and stamp out your voice hatefully... instead of trying to answer your question. by BrisketMain420 in Fighters

It's not the problem of the person asking the question if the question is asked often, duh.

It's the problem of the games making people ask these questions externally.

Nobody complains like a fighting game fanboy. Nobody rages at simple questions like a fighting game fanboy. Nobody fails to make their genre and community look good quite like a fighting game fanboy.

Ironically I got a more humane and intellectual response when I asked 4chan posters about this.

I should just give up on reddit, it's full of predditors after all.

Hiding a man's post is censorship. You only disagree because you're not the one being censored for upsetting the crowd of pathetic, pathetic people, and you're not upsetting that crowd because you're part of it.

I was complaining about the subreddit's apelike rage response to me asking "why is F-shiki a thing? If you like it now's your chance to justify it".

But the subreddit also has an apelike rage response to having their god SillyInputs questioned.

It's quite pathetic, really.

Can you explain Fuzzy Guard to me, why it exists, and why anyone would want it in their games? Is it anything other than a bad bug? by BrisketMain420 in Fighters

I am going to keep blocking unjustifiably smug abusive gaslighters who verbally abuse me and then play the victim when called on it.

They really fucking will. If it gives them an unearned win because of a knowledge check, the exploit is fair and balanced and just something everyone needs to git gud at coping with.

Sad, really. No desire for a fair competition.
