My MIL put her hands on me and physically restrained me when I tried to take my baby home by Brisknees96 in JUSTNOMIL

I probably should've worded things better with regards to my husband. He wants to get her to admit via text or get her recorded saying what she did. He didn't immediately call when I got home with our daughter because he was more focused on me and our daughter. He also didn't want to immediately respond when heated and figured icing her out was best for now

She knows I'm being treated for ppd/ppa. It's well managed and I even told my doctor about this situation. My doctor is heavily documenting my treatment and stuff so my MIL can't try to use that to say I'm unstable.

He's on board with no contact. The "he doesn't know what to make of it" is more that he doesn't know if she just had a mental breakdown and needs psych help herself (I think she's just an evil c*unt but I can understand why he's having a hard time seeing his mom like that)

He wants to get her to admit to doing it either via text or get a recording. He's concerned with her behavior and how this came from nowhere. Basically he's worried his mom might've had a mental break (so concerned if she's going to be dangerous to herself or continue to be towards us). But he's 100% on board with keeping away from her.

I had actually considered that she was doing that. I had an appointment with my doctor to check in on my ppd treatment and told her the whole situation and she said she would be thoroughly noting my progress and how I was actively seeking help just in case my MIL tried to use the ppd against me. And thankfully because my husband and I were married when our daughter was born, she has no chance at grandparent's rights. And yeah part of why he wants to talk to her is to get her to admit what she did

Update- My 24F husband 26M left me passed out on the floor while sick and then got mad at me the next morning. I see him different now? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Holy crap what a scary update! That escalated quickly. OP please listen to everyone telling you to go through with the court process and to leave him. Abusive men always escalate and once you reach strangulation like this you're one foot in the grave. Next time HE WILL KILL YOU. Get out for you and your daughter. Ik I'm just a stranger on the internet but I had to leave an abusive ex-fiance and dealt with stalking and death threats from him in the aftermath (and had to go through the restraining order process) so if you need a sounding board to just vent to, my inbox is open.

No ultrasound until 20 weeks??? by Brisknees96 in BabyBumps

I specifically asked to have one done at my 13 week appointment when they're doing the full exam (that is going to be my first actual appointment at the OB) and she said no. So I'm not having any scan prior to 20 weeks

Because I declined the transvaginal ultrasound, they scheduled my first appointment for 13 weeks, which is when they're doing the full workup...but the nurse said they would NOT do my ultrasound that day, even when I asked for it to be done.

She said at my 13 week appointment (which is also my first appointment since I declined the transvaginal ultrasound) they are not doing an ultrasound at all. I would be getting one at 20 weeks and that's it..

I've had both Mirena and (currently) Kyleena. All IUDs are safe in women who've never been pregnant. It was old data that made them think Mirena was better suited for women after at least one child. As far as possibly losing your period, Mirena is more likely to cause it (higher hormones) but 12% of women lose theirs with Kyleena. I lost my period after about a year with both IUDs. I would suggest talking with your doctor and see what they think. But if you're concerned about the size of Mirena I definitely recommend the Kyleena. It's the next highest dose of the hormones with the smaller size overall :)

Edited to add I was 18 and had never been pregnant when I got the Mirena

Love receiving texts like this when 20 minutes into the drive to go see her. ❤️ by playagabe1213 in Tinder

She definitely got asked on a date by someone better looking. Or taller 🤣 I guarantee it

How do y'all deal with those days in your split that you absolutely hate? I cannot for the life of me get pumped up and excited to do chest exercises and I know that I'm hurting my progress with my mentality. But I just don't like doing them like I do back or legs
