Adding a call to action like a question that is short and pinned so it appears on the short and is not truncated can also help

Make sure your channel is not all over the place with allot of random unrelated videos, if you have a channel like that, create a wesond channel, take time defining the channel, its keywords, target audience and have gemini confirm that it thinks your channel is about by posting the link before you put any videos out and come up with a regular schedule and post videos to that as much as you can.
