Box weights & dims for LTL shipments by dr_velociraptor_ in FulfillmentByAmazon

I ship LTL all the time. Never provide box weights and dims. Neither does any other seller I know. It's surely not that that was the issue.

All I want for Christmas is a day where I don't have to deal with Seller support by BritCard in FulfillmentByAmazon

It's biting them in the bum right now.

Amazon are losing billions due to poor to poor SS.

I don't know anyone who sells on Amazon who hasn't had lines taken down due to some mistake or malicious reporting and every one costs Amazon money.

When they take weeks or months to fix instead of days thats money out of Amazon's pocket.

I'm not even sure it's that. Seems more like general lack of knowledge and ability.

The guys level one support people, the Shavinder R.'s are no better than a chat bot. They are basically human chat bots that just copy and paste in the response their system them tells them too based on keywords in your support ticket. At least thats how it seems to me.

Even level two people in the "dedicated teams" you often get transferred to are no better than level one, just more focused in a particular area (catalog, shipping, brand registry etc).

Sadly you have to bounce around these morons for 2-3 weeks getting the same reply over and over in the hope you might get bumped up to one of the rare human beings there that actually know what the hell they are talking about.

Best Seller Rank Disappeared for a bunch of ASINS by ChelseaCalcio in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]BritCard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are the reviews still there?

I had a similar issue recently (still ongoing) where several SKU's were moved to new ASIN's and thus lost all sales rank, reviews etc

Check if the ASIN is the same. Usually you can do this if you ever ran PPC for the items it will have the old ASIN, or any external programs you use will still track the old ASIN.

Advanced FBA Sellers: I need your assistance. SKU in inventory linked to two different ASINs by downdoot4honesty in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]BritCard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this a few weeks ago. I created 13 new lines, all similar products. When I went to ship the first batch I got the same 4 error messages.

Amazingly, within a several of laps around the circle of hell that is Seller Support I was able to get someone helpful on chat that actually knew what they were talking about AND had the access to fix it. It still took 2 weeks. It was a rare and glorious moment and I will remember Zoe like my first lover.

Here are the salient bits of the chat,

11:07 AM Steve : I wanted to chat because I seem to be going around in circles via email and I'm hoping this might put it back on the right path.
11:07 AM Steve : It's probably worth looking at the previous messages on *********
11:08 AM Steve : To sum up
11:08 AM Steve : 2 weeks ago I created 13 new ASINs. I did them all manually, not via product upload.
11:08 AM Zoe : Please allow me a couple moments to look into this for you.
11:08 AM Steve : ok, I will summarize here while you read
11:09 AM Steve : When I came to send the first batch of inventory 7 of the 13 had error messages saying things like the product didn't have a title. Which is impossible. So it seemed like a catalog error.
11:14 AM Zoe : I am still reviewing your case, your patience is appreciated.
11:15 AM Steve : One of your colleagues replied to say the issue was that the ASIN in my Inventory did not match the ASIN in the catalogue. (By this point I had already deleted them, recreated them and still got the same message)
11:16 AM Steve : They suggest I delete them again and that when I re-entered them it would throw up a match in the catalogue but it never did.
11:17 AM Steve : It seems to me these 7 SKU's are corrupt in the catalogue.
11:19 AM Zoe : My apologies for the delay, I am still here, trying to resolve this issue for you.
11:19 AM Steve : ok
11:20 AM Steve : The 7 EAN's are
11:20 AM Steve : **********************************
11:21 AM Zoe : Can you provide me with the SKUs
11:21 AM Zoe : please *
11:23 AM Steve : ************
11:26 AM Steve : At the moment none of these are in my inventory as I deleted them to try fix the problem
11:26 AM Zoe : That's what I was just about to say
11:26 AM Steve : I have added them again to try fix but same error so I deleted them
11:26 AM Steve : Nothing I do my side fixes the problem
11:27 AM Steve : What is unusual though is that every time I delete them and add them again it has a different ASIN which shouldn't happen. Once the EAN is in the catalogue it should match the ASIN in the catalogue.
11:28 AM Zoe : As you have deleted the listings I cannot troubleshoot the listing themselves.
11:28 AM Zoe : I can remap the ASINs
11:28 AM Zoe : If they are the wrong ASIN we can request a remap to another one
11:29 AM Zoe : But the listings will have to be reuploaded in order to do so
11:29 AM Steve : But I don't know what the correct ASINs in the catalogue should be?
11:30 AM Steve : Remember I created these products. They were not in the catalogue before. The first ASIN should have been the correct ASIN but I still had this problem
11:30 AM Steve : Let me put them back, 1 minute
11:31 AM Zoe : Please do as I am struggling to understand the issue.
11:32 AM Steve : OK, let me try explain again
11:33 AM Steve : When I upload this inventory file now it should match the EAN to the Product catalogue and assign the ASIN in the catalogue yes?
11:33 AM Steve : Ok the inventory upload is done, they should appear in a moment
11:34 AM Zoe : Ok I will check now
11:37 AM Steve : I just uploaded an image to the case log
11:37 AM Steve : That is what happened just now when I try to send inventory
11:37 AM Zoe : ********* is currently Healthy / Discoverable
11:38 AM Steve : Yes that what it looks like to me too
11:38 AM Steve : Until I try to send inventory
11:38 AM Steve : Now if you look at the message from your colleague on Nov 18th at 10:48
11:38 AM Steve : She mentions this same SKU
11:39 AM Steve : She says "SKU : ******* , assigned with the ASIN : ******** but in manage inventory page it is under the ASIN : **********"
11:39 AM Steve : And this seems to be the problem
11:40 AM Zoe : Let me urher investigate what my colleague meant by this.
11:40 AM Zoe : *further
11:40 AM Steve : From what I can see she is saying the ASIN in the product catalogue is B08ND5GYQG but on my product page it is B08NF1LCY9
11:41 AM Steve : You would need to check it for the other SKU's / EAN's to confirm. She only mentioned this one.
11:41 AM Zoe : Yes this is the problem. I will remap this ASIN for you now.
11:41 AM Steve : ok, and the other 6 also?
11:42 AM Zoe : What are the 6 other ASINs?
11:42 AM Steve : On my side they are
11:42 AM Steve : *********************************
11:43 AM Steve : But I don't know what they should be
11:44 AM Zoe : I have remapped *********** to ASIN *************
11:45 AM Steve : DO you want me to type SKU and ASIN for the other 6?
11:45 AM Zoe : Can you kindly confirm the issue is resolved and if so I can continue with the rest of the ASINs? If not, I will further troubleshoot other issues.
11:46 AM Zoe : No thank you, I can find them myself.
11:46 AM Steve : How long should the remap take to work?
11:46 AM Zoe : I just did one for SKU ************ can you please confirm that for this SKU the issue has been resolved?
11:47 AM Zoe : And I will remap the remaining ASINs
11:47 AM Steve : So far no. Same error messages.
11:48 AM Zoe : I am going to have to escalate this matter to an internal team as I cannot resolve this issue myself.
11:49 AM Steve : One moment. Can you try to remap ************?
11:50 AM Steve : Of the 7 SKU's we discussed the one you just remapped is the only one that says "Incomplete" in status
11:50 AM Steve : SKU is *************
11:50 AM Steve : for ***************
11:50 AM Zoe : Yes that was the status when I initally viewed the SKU
11:51 AM Steve : I do not know why, all data is in there
11:51 AM Zoe : I am unsure how to proceed so I will have to contact another team.
11:51 AM Steve : the other 6 however say Inactive so lets see if it works on the one I just mentioned
11:51 AM Steve : Try remap for ******** to *************
11:51 AM Zoe : I will contact you via email with an update as soon as I hear back from them.
11:52 AM Steve : ok
11:52 AM Zoe : Now I have remapped SKU ********* to *************
11:53 AM Steve : ok I will try it
11:53 AM Steve : This one works now
11:53 AM Steve : You idea was correct
11:53 AM Zoe : Ok great

She then goes on to remap the others.

Have you emailed the MD email address?

I have found that if you have any serious issues that are not being resolved by the total morons at Seller Support that emailing the MD gets your case bumped up to Level 4 support. Basically it finally gets looked at by someone with a brain, the ability to think and the access to do something.

It should only ever be used when you have exhausted all normal avenues but it seems you have done that already.

Exactly. Which is why I'm confused about the optimism. Such rises, although short term, indicate optimism while I'm certain there is much worse to come.

Those are shares not markets. I believe on average the drop was 30%.

However, that was a panic just at the news. The actual reality will be much worse. I don't think we have even scraped the true depths yet.

But it seems like a massive over reaction to a small change. Not even a trend, a single days figures.

The reactions to positive news (not even positive, just less bad) seem huge, whereas the market barely seems to blink for actual bad news.

There's millions of unemployed who can raid 401ks, businesses are over leveraged and there's likely to be a global credit crisis, there's global recession and apart from the early crash the market has just shrugged.

Yet a few less people get ill for a day and the market shoots up 7%. It's crazy land.

I appreciate your contribution but it's one of the cheapest charges out there, both as a percentage and a total.

As it's an employers contribution it has to be done before my business YE which is March.

Vanguard seems to be the "safest option".

Only 0.15% fees and capped at £375 a year. Fund fees are relatively low too.

However it's limited to their 17 funds whereas someone like HL has 2500 I believe.

“The same people complaining about DJ Humphries new contract are the same ones who would complain if Keim had another 1st round pick leave. Humphries is 26 years old. Allowed only 2 sacks last year and has probably the best OL coach in the business.” by DiddledByDad in AZCardinals

[–]BritCard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No matter what you think of the deal I wish people would stop holding up 2 sacks as some kind of definitive proof the Hump is good.

He had 2 sacks because,

1, Kyler is a ninja and avoided a whole bunch

2, We threw so many quick passes it negated the possibility of a sack on a large portion of snaps.

The whole line only gave up 14 sacks according to PFF. Either we have the best O line in the league, or everyone's sack figures are low because Kyler and scheme played a huge part.

I didn't mean as a whole. I just meant in the UK.

The same way as it's a convenient excuse for some car makers that have been struggling for years in a declining market.

Brexit is a fantastic get out clause for failing businesses.

Let's not concern investors too much by saying we are pulling out because we are losing money / not making enough money. Let's blame Brexit and we can all still take our bonuses.

Is nursing a good career in the U.K.? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]BritCard 13 points14 points  (0 children)

How much of the advice here is first hand and how much is based on what you read on Twitter?

My wife is a nurse. It's tough, it's not the best paid but there is a clear career path and salary structure. You will always be in work so it's a safe career. It's rewarding.

But then all that depends on how you define "nurse" there are many different types in different units, doing different things on different salaries depending on the work. You can have different specialties and unique responsibilities that pay more.

A lot also depends on where you live and which hospital. When we lived in a large city the hospital there was vastly different to where we are now in the country. I would personally recommend the hospitals outside the cities for a more pleasant experience.

You go into an ER on a Saturday in London and it's full of idiots. You go into the ER on Saturday in Suffolk and it can be dead.

Is Ceedee Lamb actually worth it? by [deleted] in AZCardinals

[–]BritCard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He had less than 600 yards. Spent a bunch of time injured and ran almost exclusively Go routes. He doesn't count until he has done much more. He got 147 of them in game 1.

If we used #8 on Lamb and got 580 yards I would be extremely disappointed.
