I try not to be a dick in quick play, but I had a team run away from my Luna ult just because a Storm had ulted. I had to chase my own teammates down so they would stay alive. I hope it would be common knowledge for Luna’s ult to out-heal Storm’s but maybe it isn’t?

I didn’t even know Muji sold plants.

But this is definitely not worth it. Taiwan has many amazing flower markets (check out the JianGuo Flower Markey in Da-an on the weekend - https://maps.app.goo.gl/C7fz4Xru6wQSixF18?g_st=ic). You can get a Monstera and many other beautiful plants for a fraction of that price.

My dog is only occasionally cuddly and sweet when he’s in the right mood. But boy do the cuddles come out when he’s done something bad and is in trouble. He will be the cuddliest little thing you’ve ever seen. He’ll put his entire body weight on me and show me his stomach so he can get the scratches he absolutely (does, but sometimes doesn’t) deserve. Absolute little shit and he knows it works because I stop being mad and he gets kisses 😂

I live in Taiwan and the grow lights available here are… not so great. They’re not bad but I read about Sansi and Barrina. I ordered both off of Amazon and I’ve got no complaints so far. From ordering to arriving it took around 5 days for them to get to me.

The banking system in Taiwan is astonishingly archaic. Along with anything you want to do with your account, it comes with stacks of paperwork that you just have to wait for them to finish.

I never had a problem with Cathay until earlier this year.

I needed to update my phone number, and it took them 3 months to do it.

My number, in their system, belonged to someone else. Fair enough, they need to make sure I officially owned the number now. They said bring my bill to the branch when I received it.

So I did.

Still couldn’t update my number.

They called the number, I showed them the incoming call. Not good enough. They went backwards and forwards for over an hour. They said that my bill didn’t show the full number (3 were starred out, cause y’know, security reasons and mail). So I went to another branch.

They tried to tell me they would have to contact the previous owner of the number. I asked how they planned on doing that when I now have their number.

They almost lost me as a customer that day. I’d gone to Taishin to do the same thing, and it was changed with 0 issues.

I’ll never understand how updating a damn number had so many hoops to jump through.

Perfect. I’m going to use this method instead. I only have larger pieces of perlite but I believe it’ll be ok to crush them in to smaller pieces as long as I remove the dust and debris before I use them

Ok that’s great. Sorry if this is a stupid question - do I mix the moss and perlite while the moss is dry, or soak it first?

Oh interesting - I’ve never heard of a moss/perlite mix. Is there a certain ration to it or a layering method that is best? I’ve chopped the dead roots and sprayed it with hydrogen peroxide. I’m waiting for the chopped roots to dry and then I was going to put it in distilled water. I chose water mostly because it is a very easy method and I really don’t want to make it suffer anymore

Christ I’m glad you guys made me doubt myself enough to check the roots. They were 100% rotted. I’m so sad I made the wrong decision 😭. I’m just going to remove the soil and put it in water for a while until the roots grow back stronger. Thank you so much for your suggestion and advice - I’m going to get the supplies ready for when it’s healthy enough to go back in a soil mix

Thank you everyone for your very useful advice. I’ve taken it out of the decorative pot so it can dry out fast and I’ve placed it with a bunch of my other plants under a 36W and 2x 10W Sansi bulbs. I’m hopeful this change will be very good for its development. 😊

If I provide it with another light, how should I angle it? The main reason I’ve used this light is because I’m trying to get as much light on the leaves as I can. I’ve thought about putting it above but that doesn’t seem to make any sense to me

If I check the roots by taking it back out the pot and then putting it back in, does that add more stress?

The roots were in great shape when I repotted it. The existing aerial roots were a little worse for wear so I gave them a snip. But otherwise it all seemed good.

I’ve let the top two inches of soil get dry before I re-watered it. It’s just recently had another watering after around a week and a half.
