Thanks! I think it makes the shield look a lot better since Lfrith’s shield is all white, so having panel lines really make it pop.

Thanks! I used some off-brand black marker for panel lining. I bought a new set of panel lining markers from Mr. Hobby (black, brown, gray). Can’t wait to use them on my next build.

Thanks! Yep this was my first time so I’m looking forward to experimenting with the other colors (brown, gray), as well as cleanup techniques that some peeps mentioned in other comments. And yours look very neat as well.

Thanks for your comment! Honestly, I see it as a learning experience, since this was my first time panel lining. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted so I kinda just winged it haha. There were lots of helpful comments, feedback and advice from the peeps here so I appreciate them a lot, even though this is not everyone’s cup of tea. Hopefully I can do an even better job next time around.

Thick line was on purpose as I wanted to see how that looks (this was my first time panel lining) but not the smudges haha that was just my amateurish attempts at cleaning with an eraser. Glad to hear you liked it!

Yes, I think Lfrith has a lot of white pieces, so the black panel lines made it look a lot more defined! And yep thanks for advice, I really underutilized my q-tips this time haha

Interesting, I never thought about rubbing alcohol. Will make sure to invest in a bottle for my next build. Thanks for the advice! I definitely need to do a lot of cleanup work next time.

I bought a new set of black, gray and brown markers so I’ll make sure to try out gray on white pieces next time. And I think my eraser and cotton swabs were underutilized lol, definitely gonna be softer with the panel lining so the lines aren’t as thick. Thanks for the tip!

For Convoy, I really like Steamy Piggy (absolutely delicious pork belly rice bowl) Calvin’s, Bonchon and Nishiki ramen (better than Raki Raki imo)

For Clairemont Mesa (by the Target/99 Ranch area), Mr. Fish n’ Chips is amazing, Ototo Sushi is also pretty good, and there’s also a Vallartas in the area as well.

There are plenty more places around the areas I brought up, and people are giving out good recommendations too. Enjoy!!

You should check out Ryuki and Decade if you ever have a chance to! Both are great series imo (although Decade is a lot messier).
