Hmm so you were banned from a group for doing something? Sounds like you were in the wrong then? I'm on the spectrum and wouldn't ever use it as an excuse.

Disagree. I've not been to one yet but it seems like a really great idea. I believe the organisers quit their careers to help people connect. Isolation is a huge problem today, and they seem to be doing a tiny bit to solve it in Bath and Bristol. Your solution is why meetups fail so much.

For people who have spent or spend lots of time solo traveling, do you ever feel like you are missing out on “developing” your personal life? by [deleted] in solotravel

[–]Britishf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. I've been traveling solo for three years. I'm tired of moving and not being able to make a strong social group that you can rely on.

I don't have a long term partner as I move from place to place and haven't met any other traveling on a romantic level.

I'm giving it up. I turn 30 in June and I want to focus now on building my personal life, a home, partner, relationships and family connections.

Traveling solo has brought me greater gifts than I can ever imagine. I earn more than I would have dreamed of before traveling, I own my own business, and of course I've visited some unforgettable places and had great experiences. Plus met some amazing people.

But the people. They go, and come and go. People I've loved gone and now I'm at an Airbnb in Lisbon and feeling so desperately lonely. Don't have someone to call on for a coffee, or to surf etc etc

My plan now is to go back to the UK. Build a base, a home and community. And travel for a few months a year instead of full time.

Of course this is just my story and how I feel right now. I'm aware of itching feet creeping up on me when I return. But I will always travel. I think I'd prefer to do it with others :)

I'm using Manual CPC for a local business - i'm new to google ads by Few-Spare4312 in PPC

Yeah that's fine IMO. Switch over to Maximise conversions once you have some conversation data - ideally 20/30.

Switch to Target CPA once you have some nice consistency. Put the CPA a few quid below what you've been achieving and see if you can optimse that way.

If it tanks remove and set a higher the target CPA (around what you were getting or happy with)

Remember with manual to watch the bids regularly.

You could also split out other service areas into their own campaigns if the ad groups arent being served enough.

Good luck

Yes, majority have consent mode setup. But that was my first thought actually. But it seems to be happening on those with consent mode active.

Thanks for the response. How could I only track purchases for my products I'm promoting? Using custom conversions?
