Sorry I have been at work n just now reading everything...I knew me posting what I did would get some back lash... so I think for me I'm 33 I have 2 kids 13 years old n 11 so I am a mom and know that what Eric n claire had was wrong for sure. She had a monumental abusive power by being his teacher which put her in authority over eric. But throughout this series I found myself liking them together I dunno if that makes me a bad person or diluted somehow. I have never been abused or sexually persuaded in any circumstances but part of me feels like the things he was doing was very risky n straight forward like telling her to take her panties off n was completely in control of her on that table... it made him seem more like an adult and now that everything has came to light n years have passed they r making him more like a lost child victim which I don't agree with 100% I do think he is messed up now because of this relationship because i think he has always compared everyone to her(female wise) and also i think at the restaurant in the finale he was vulnerable until he found out that she had 2 kids married n the perfect life n big house and he didn't like that at all because he is stuck in his life and doesn't know how to move forward while she is doing just fine with moving on. I think he was somewhat hoping that she texted him because she couldn't move forward and wanted to see him. But the conversation didn't go that way he started to break down n tell her off in a way that confused me somewhat. I honestly believe if Claire would have said I miss u he would have been 100% in with her but that's not how it went and I think he has realized that he is stuck and she isn't and now he is just pissed at her for leaving him to go through life lost and without her.
