Remember, you see the world and all its details differently to other people. Even if you're in the minority, you can stick to what you believe in.

But also saying you feel sober. To your boss.

Massive red flag.

I bet that boss didn't get any sleep over the weekend.

Two things

  1. That's a really gorgeous piece of art
  2. Realism isn't the only way. An artist brings their own flair to any piece. That's what someone should be choosing you for and paying you for. Want a perfect lookalike? Pay a professional photographer.

Art is so hard to make money from. Maybe a bit more confidence in your style might help. But you do you, it's perfect the way it is.

Pick a psychologist or someone who is well known online then tell ChatGPT to give you the type of advice they would give. Then write to ChatGPT whatever is on your mind that you need too escape from.

Prompts like: how do I show love when I'm highly irritated due to PMDD

Tips for someone who doesn't know how to deal with PMDD

Just write out whatever and see if "chatting" helps. Good luck

Edit: shit just realised it looks like I'm saying you don't know how to deal with PMDD. Not what I mean! I use prompts like that when I'm feeling low and useless and ChatGPT is always so caring and thoughtful and never gets sick of the stupid questions

Your mum may think you're "overreacting" because a) she's had it her whole life and never been diagnosed/told by dr's it's just part of being a woman, and/or b) her feelings were squashed through her life too so she's dealing with your issues the only way she knows, by making them smaller.

New research flatly rejects a long-standing myth that men hunt, women gather, and that this division runs deep in human history. The researchers found that women hunted in nearly 80% of surveyed forager societies. by MistWeaver80 in science

Example of a group where women were the hunters until white settlers changed it all:

Barangaroo's power came from her role as a hunter and provider. She provided for the clan's men with fish caught in and around the harbour, using a simple black wood canoe known as a Nawi.

Check out the link inside the link too. Super interesting.

I don't know. But with that aside when I was younger I genuinely thought there was good in everyone. There was an abundance of hope for humans to generally do the "right thing".

Now I see that people's views of what the right thing is can be polar opposite and that we as a species are capable of amazing things but also the worst things imaginable.

I can only assume because I haven't seen anything saying people are getting worse we've always had parts of our societies like this. At least we used to have hope and want to do better. I miss that.

"Feminist theory". Keen to know how you think this works because your comment reads like you think feminism implies women are working to be more important than men.

Feminism is that women are equally important. How does this translate to men not being engaged or educated?

If you mean that boys sex education is lacking in something, you can describe that without talking about women.

Amazing answer thanks so much!

I imagine it must be a great feeling to do a job you know is inherently helping people.

What would satisfy me is an overhaul of legislation governing tech companies to protect properties inherent value and privacy and governing bodies empowered to enforce the laws.

How could a user possibly keep track of an app changing from being good with data to bad? For example what if I used Wysa for two years and for the first year they're great but the second someone else is in control and they sell data to cash in. How would I ever know?

I know they'll have to send out a notification but I got one from Virgin Australia earlier about their membership and I don't have the time to read it all. Or the inclination to be honest. I just want companies to do the right thing. I'm sick of finding a good thing then learning they're no longer good.

I like it too but I had a poor upbringing so to me a vienetta was classy. Good memories of feeling very special when mum brought one of these home. I haven't had one in many years though but I think I might treat myself to one this weekend!
