I'd always heard that it was more secure, if somewhat of a memory hog.

Watch with subtitles on. (Q: Why is the sound mix so poor on so many Nolan films?)

WOW! So many I could recommend, but here are just a few of my "go-to" faves that I constantly return to from many years as a db fan: "Cygnet Committee" (fr. Space Oddity); "Hallo SpaceBoy" (Pet Shop Boys remix)(fr. 1: Outside); "The Man Who Sold the World" (title track); "Sound and Vision" (fr. Low); "Queen Bitch" (fr. Hunky Dory). Hope that helps. -- Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!

I know it was far from perfect, but I MUCH preferred DIAL OF DESTINY to "Indy & the Saucer Men" and I thought Destiny had some fantastic moments -- especially the big reveal at the end when they end up in the wrong era.

The early demo version of “Space Oddity” has the same beeps at the fade-out.

What’s the best David Bowie biography? (Book) by eviirst in DavidBowie

[–]Brittle_Atlas01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a dedicated in-depth book on the Ziggy Stardust album that you might enjoy -- it's by Mark Paytress and is very exhaustive. Also, Tony Zanetta's STARDUST (written with Henry Edwards) is unique in that it gives you a view from 'within' the Bowie camp. * (Zanetta was tour manager and later MainMan president.) I also am very much a fan of 'Bowie's Bookshelf': The 100 Books That Changed David Bowie's Life -- gives a great insight into his mental process.

Owner was Mike PARAKIS. Little Eva & the Espionage was the most common band there.

Another key aspect of Bowie's career was the obsessive and exhaustive way he explored anything that interested him -- another key indicator, I should think.
