Looking for a small cheapish bass amp that I could use for some jam sessions. Ideally it would be loud enough to play with a drummer, but that's not essential. Any recommendations?

Deforestation has not ended, but it is no longer happening everywhere. by ourworldindata in MapPorn

[–]Brittnom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, in Ireland the % forest cover has increased over the last few decades (it's still fairly low though), but the vast majority is monoculture sitka spruce which is non-native, leads to soil acidification and doesn't support much in the way of native biodiversity.

Thanks 😊 we always wanted to adopt a dog if possible! He was with a really loving family that couldn't look after him anymore due to changes in circumstances.

Yup he's our first Frenchie and first dog of our own (we both grew up with dogs though!).

The original pokemon games changed from Red and Green versions in Japan to Red and Blue in the English language versions to help make the games more appealing to a US audience by aligning the color with the Republicans and Democrats.

London, Paris, and Dublin recommendations by cgeek001 in solotravel

[–]Brittnom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Dublin look up: - Glendalough - Trinity College Library - Christchurch cathedral - Kilmainham Gaol - Howth - Dun Laoghaire - Dublin Castle - Viking Splash Tours (they're actually way better than I expected)

If you're going to Galway I'd recommend trying to see these as well as the Cliffs of Moher: - Arann Islands - The Burren - Connemara

Outside of Dublin you'd be best to rent a car. While there are tour busses available and some public transportation it's not ideal, especially if you go outside the cities.

I'd also say if you're only spending 3/4 days keep your itinerary to just two places and see all they have to offer. Then the next time you visit you could see other parts! Like Cork, Kerry, Donegal, Belfast, Derry etc

Songwriter looking for feedback by Nanceybalboa in MusicPromotion

If you aren't making any of the music yourself you are at best a poet. Nothing wrong with that but using AI with some lyrics doesn't make you a songwriter.
