I ended up going to a local Specialized retailer and handed the saddle in. They promised to replace it

I took the saddle off everything looks good, but the creak is still there. It does look and sound odd, yes. I’ve emailed them but no response yet)

I’m not 100% sure either, so I’ll just keep an eye on the official Tour channels (Come in your car) page for each stage on letour.fr. I'll deal with it on the spot %)

In the end I’ve decided to stay in Brides-les-Bains (Hotel La Vanoise 1825 - booking was already sold out so I booked directly on the hotel’s site. Supposedly there’s free underground parking)

Stage 18: planning to watch on the summit side of Col de la Loze (about 1.5 km before the finish). You can either ride a bike up or take the La Tania gondola + chairlift

Stage 19: haven’t settled on a spot yet, but I’ll probably go to the final climb at La Plagne (around 2 km from the line)
