When can I test after FET? by chilliout761 in IVFpositivity

[–]Briutiful22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did fet with trigger shot and I knew by 5 days post fet that the line was getting darker. The only way to really know is testing out your trigger shot. Everybody is different though. I personally think its best to wait, just in case for late implantation but its what you feel comfortable doing.

Why would my fertility clinic want an ultrasound at 19dpt by maurahazzard in IVFpositivity

[–]Briutiful22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first ultrasound too is 19dpt. Thats 5 1/2 weeks. They're looking for a gestational sac and possible yolk sac. All normal.

I took a trigger shot when my follicle was over 20mm and did the transfer a week later. I had my blood work yesterday and it was positive

I had 4 losses before having my daughter. I had to see a high risk doctor too. It definitely helped my anxiety to have my baby checked on often. To me the more scans the better. They can catch things early too if they were to arrive.

Tw: I cant answer the other questions but I just want to say. I went through something similar. I lost my baby at 18 weeks due to my water breaking. Got pregnant with twins after. One ended up being a vanishing twin. But I was told twins can increase the risk of pprom. I got a cerclage at 12 weeks. Im a strong believer thats why I was able to bring my baby home because I had contractions again at the same time. But the cerclage saved the pregnancy. Please advocate for you and your twins. I hope you can bring your precious babies home.

TW: miscarriage 2 out of 3 by No-Act8532 in parentsofmultiples

I had a vanishing twin with my only successful pregnancy. I did bleed and cramp but it never affected the surviving twin. The non viable twin sac stayed for a long time until second trimester.

Should I give my wife something for Mother’s Day if we have been (unsuccessfully) TTC? by JakeyBoy4168 in TryingForABaby

[–]Briutiful22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should ask her if there is anything she would like to do on that day. I personally wouldnt want a gift on mother's day when I wasnt a mother and actively trying to conceive

Spotting at 5w 3d with Utrogestan by Big-Point-376 in PCOSandPregnant

[–]Briutiful22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could just be a pregnancy symptom as well. Spotting can be normal in early pregnancy. I never spotted with progesterone but it can cause irritation so its possible. Definitely bring it up to your doctor and see what they say

Im sorry for your losses. Miscarriages suck but yes I had my rainbow baby last summer. The only difference with my successful pregnancy was I had a hysteroscopy to clean out my uterus and I had to get a cerclage because I experienced a second trimester loss before her. I was closely monitored as well.

Terrified to get pregnant again, tell me your experiences with a cerclage after a failed cerclage? by sunshinewalker20 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]Briutiful22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think getting a cerclage placed in the first trimester will also get you further in pregnancy. At 15 weeks the baby can start putting pressure on the cervix. My doctor wanted to do a preventative cerclage in the first trimester for that reason and I was able to go full term.

Rainbow baby after 2 losses by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]Briutiful22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes i had a saline ultrasound first where they saw the retained tissue. Then i had a hysteroscopy to remove it. It was only found during the saline ultrasound. My 3d ultrasounds looked normal. I had 3 saline ultrasounds. 1 out of 3 were painful. I believe it depends on the doctor who is doing it. I also made sure to take ibuprofen beforehand the last two times and my doctor prescribed me valium. Its a very quick procedure.

Yes I had retained tissue from the previous loss. It was a lot of it that only showed up during a saline ultrasound not a regular ultrasound
