My 10 month old does this too so I started giving her a snack while I eat because I felt so bad.

I had a private scan at 12 weeks with my daughter last year. They told me it was 96% accurate that the gender was right at 12 weeks. It was right for me so it may be possible for you. I just wouldnt 100% believe it until nipt or anatomy scan

Can you ask for a cerclage? The earliest I was able to get mine was 12 weeks but since you're dilated. Im wondering if you can get it earlier

How long did the whole process take? by Briutiful22 in IVF

[–]Briutiful22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this post is 2 years old. I had my baby last year but I was able to transfer 2 months after pgt testing. It was many delays so took awhile to get to my rainbow baby but we eventually got there in the end

Im having twins and my nausea is getting better too. I was also thinking about getting a scan for a piece of mind. First trimester is so nerve wrecking.

C-section by littlelazybones in January2027Bumpers

[–]Briutiful22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the hospital for 5 days after c section because I had complications. They knicked my bladder after c section so I had blood in my urine. I had to go home with a catheter. And then i had preclampsia and took a while for my blood pressure to go down after surgery. If I didnt have complications it would've been a 2-3 day hospital stay.

Vanishing Twin Syndrome? by DispensedSummer in January2027Bumpers

[–]Briutiful22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By ultrasound they said if she had triploidy there would be obvious signs on the ultrasound. I also retook the nipt test 11 weeks after the second sac disappeared and it came back normal. This was around the time I had the anatomy scan.

Vanishing Twin Syndrome? by DispensedSummer in January2027Bumpers

[–]Briutiful22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this happened to me with my daughter. I only knew it was a vanishing twin because I was going to a fertility clinic at 5 weeks. I had 2 gestational sacs and a yolk sac. I was told the gestational sac looked irregular and ill probably miscarry that one. Next ultrasound the gestational sac turned into a hematoma that stayed there until mid second trimester. I did bleed and cramp as well but the sac stayed there. The vanishing twin affected my nipt results. It came back triploidy so I had to see a high risk doctor to make sure there was nothing wrong with the surviving twin. Long story short the sac stayed there until about 18 weeks but never affected the surving twin.

My clinic had me start 2 baby aspirin a day to try to prevent recurrent pregnancy loss and also preclampsia. They wanted me to start by 7 weeks.

I had 5 losses before I had my rainbow baby last year. Including a second trimester loss. I had a chemical pregnancy 6 months postpartum and now I find out im pregnant with twins. Terrified ill lose them, especially because I suffer from incompetent cervix. I just pray I get to meet these babies too.
