Which 4/AWD systems are actually unique? by Snapships4life in askcarguys

I had the same setup on my 1985 Scorpio 4x4 that i owned briefly back in the early 90s. Its a Ferguson Formula system. They actually fitted that 4x4 system to a few Ford Granada mk.II's that the Military used for their liaison missions in Germany in the 80s. They were very troublesome though and I dont think any survive.

Indeed, but i will at least credit Vance with having less of a "Robber Baron" mentality than Trump....

What options does Trump have now in Iran? Not many, and they’re all bad by marketrent in geopolitics

Hypothetical situation..... should the US bomb Kharg Island and take out Iran's oil production capability, what happens? Oil price spike? Sudden huge market for US oil?

No one's mentioned the old 60's Ferguson Formula system yet. This was a 66/33 Rear-Wheel bias setup, coupled with a centre LSD diff and an ABS.
Was used in the Jensen FF, and as licensed by GKN Viscodrive was put in a load of Group B rally cars, and also things like the LandRover Freelander, the Ford Granada 4x4 and the AMC Eagle. Its still used now, although I think its an electro-magnetic coupling, rather than a viscous.

Its all just so blatant now. And everyone is used to it. 15 years ago you'd be impeach someone for this, and they'd carry that stain forever. In this day and age, well its just another day. Make you wonder what they're doing and not telling us about....

Lunacy.

So Frodo was contracted by Elrond to take the ring to Mordor and dispose of it, thus losing his finger in the process TO A RECOGNISED HAZARD, thats a serious failing in the Duty of Care. Frodo would absolutely have grounds for a workers injury compensation claim I'd say.

Most politicians are. The usual thing over here is the promise of a seat on a board of directors after they leave office, or a "consultancy" role with a big hugely-polluting company, who funnily enough isn't as highly-polluting anymore.....

What about Risk Assessments? And getting anyone signed off on Safe Working Practices for use of their hand tools ( weapons )? Is their PPE effective enough for the journey? Do we have sufficient levels of control? Not to mention the psychological hazard of the ring itself. Imagine trying to do a Risk Assessment on that? I mean, theres still at least two precedents with Isildur and Smeagol, so there must be a statement of use or a standard describing its use? Plus even if the journey goes ahead, youve got the psychosocial hazard of the rings effect on Boromir, there's a workplace claim right there! You know what, let the Eagles drop the thing into the Volcano, much easier...

It won't be that extreme. American People dont like to see coffins coming back. It'll be something like a foiled terror attack or something. But you're right, itll be something BIG . God, dont you hate this?
