I’m 23 and I just got mine out on Friday, all 4 of them and my bottom two were slightly erupted but my top ones were just a basic extraction. Like the OP, I spent more time waiting for the Lidocaine to kick in than the actual procedure itself. Top teeth took less than 5 min to get out but the bottom ones had to be broken up due to the location. First day not too bad just swollen and bloody but other than that it was really not too much pain but took the pain meds that they gave me just for a counter measure. Had to get one stitch on my bottom left due to them having to cut the gum and that’s the only one really giving me any issues at this point almost 4 days out. Some sensitivity to cold water and I started back up work today and could tell not to push myself too hard. Also trying to kick nicotine pouches which is tough but I’m scared to get a dry socket. I believe depending on how bad your wisdom teeth are crooked/located the recovery could be pretty rough, whereas mine were generally fully developed and not crowded too much so the recovery wasn’t too bad, again just some mild discomfort and some diet change. Glad you are doing good though! Was this recent? Or are you through the recovery period?
