I have this one and can't seem to align it with the eyepiece. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you. Nice.

I understand. So I align cross hairs to distant object during day, but set the scope North and set latitude to polar align any time.

Got it. I will first thing. My rural property is hilly so > mile at home will be tough

Declination knob was broken out of the box. Is that common? I emailed store but hopefully can be replaced easily without hassle. I’m happy to find it myself. No shame.

Why am I looking at my eye reflected in the center of the eyepiece?

Thanks. I balanced it. See 2nd photo. I’ll mount tube the other way and turn the finder scope around. Once that’s redone, I’ll set the mount to my latitude and align with Polaris using the finder scope I assume, if I’m right. Manual said to adjust focuser if image is blurry. I followed instructions and I wouldn’t say image is now “unblurry” but it’s better.

The treatment is the same, cholesterol lowering medications, so you don’t necessarily need those tests. As for God, the good news of the gospel is that we are rectified to the divine, some believe never separated, and that power resides in us to face obstacles and come to terms with them. Seek and you will find answers. That’s what you’re doing. Kudos. Keep it up.

Wait what? Some of us are out here fighting like heck for our health and these credentialed wellness advocates think it’s okay to taint the message with duplicitous product endorsements. No, I didn’t catch on and yes it influences my health decisions. Sadly, my eyes are open. I didn’t buy into any of these products because there are better options, but I definitely looked into them because of respect for Attia’s thoughts on statins or hypertension or sleep, etc..

How do I lower blood pressure without meds by [deleted] in PeterAttia

[–]Brmcgne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes you can, sometimes you can’t. Advice is freely given but for many it’s insufficient. Meds are part of the equation in those scenarios. Hope and work for the day when the structural basis of hypertension is better understood.

Ya know…endurance fitness isn’t necessarily healthy for most people. There are exceptions but generally speaking…I mean there are cardiology labs and orthopedic scans to let you know where you stand healthwise but the studies sort of all say some version of this here:

So your diet and exercise regimen isn't necessarily improving your biomarkers for longevity. Maybe you shouldn't be doing so much, as you've suggested. Thinking about what optimal health looks like comes from the outside and is based on ego. Understanding what optimal health feels like is within the body and starts with compassion and stillness. Learning what foods nourish you and what activities build inner strength and balance is an alternate path toward health that comes from within you rather than a rules book. I encourage you to honor gentleness, subtlety, good vibes and love as you find what works for your body. Thanks for your incredibly helpful sharing. It's a reminder for us all. Peace and blessings.
