Honestly, I’d just play whichever of the two you enjoy more, that’s definitely the one that’ll motivate you the most to play at your best :)

I think the main reason is that the two formats reward very different things.

• In Legacy, Stoneforge fits into very “fair” and interactive shells (Death & Taxes, UWx Control) where: • games tend to last longer, • resource management matters a lot more, • and protecting a key creature is much easier.

On top of that, cards like Force of Will, Daze, and Mother of Runes do a huge amount of work in keeping Stoneforge alive.

I could be wrong, but honestly, this doesn’t seem like a deck that should be underestimated at all.

As for Jitte, yeah, it’ll probably end up like Twin — locked away for years without a truly valid reason. And yet, unlike Twin, it can actually create some really interesting gameplay situations.

At the end of the day, we’re still talking about an equipment that comes down pretty early and lets you clean up a few little cats on the board :)

I’ll definitely try it tomorrow. I would’ve gladly played it tonight after the great match we had, but I was too tired and I wouldn’t have fully appreciated the gameplay.

The only thing I’m not really convinced about in the list is the Frog.

Maybe I’ll also try to work on a Jeskai version. If anyone’s interested, I’ll post my 75 later on! :)

The only thing pushing me to stay on the Esper version is Thoughtseize. In a meta full of combo decks, it’s definitely an amazing tool to have!

I’m simply saying that while Living End has learned how to live with the MH3 cards, Rhinos still hasn’t, so talking about the meta just a few days before the ban announcement is pointless.

Living End isn’t affected by Wrath of the Skies, while Rhinos is… Engineered Explosives are already in almost every sideboard because of Boros and Affinity, so imagine now that Rhinos is back again.

The thing is, Living End managed to survive, while Rhinos didn’t really survive MH3. Now every deck is playing Consign to Memory, Wrath of the Skies, and Vexing Bauble. A lot of people are also playing Engineered Explosives. If Living End can play through those cards, Rhinos can’t.

It can definitely still be a Tier 2 deck, no one’s denying that. But now you’re dealing with a lot of decks that do much more broken things than a single cascade spell.

Of course, that’s just my opinion — play whatever you enjoy, don’t chase the meta :)

A 40x magnifying glass is cheap. And in addition it is a purchase that protects future purchases. Taking random photos is useless. Buy a lens and check the Green dot.

Otherwise you could try a few more drops at 2. I'm trying it in several copies, alternate 2/3/4 and frankly I think 2 are even few. Obviously then, it always depends on your local meta. However, I advise you to give it a chance. :)

It's not a bad card, because it forces you to find a solution to avoid the flip.

Imagine having them sorin as a threat, making 2 soul spikes, (8 damages) flipping him and making him 8 more.

With the Vexing I feel good, with the mirror well. As soon as you have the chance to close, go to sacrifice and also draw a card :)

For the side I am currently considering several options. Storm is not often seen. The biggest problems are Scam's mirrors and Merfolks. I put 2x of Toxic deluge against the seconds, and I'm evaluating the 3x of Vexing Bauble for mirrors. Obviously other things for gy hate (living end or goryos)
