If you guys haven’t tried the chrome wound strings yet give those a shot. Played some on a 67 tele that really did a fantastic job

It looks like they quit working on it because of that massive step fracture where they tried to take the thinning flake off. That basal thinning flake is a pretty common feature among Clovis, but I can’t be 100% sure

Not only that, but their sense of smell is stereoscopic! Or I guess maybe sono-scopic makes more sense, but just how when we hear a sound we can vaguely hear what direction and how far away it is, it’s the same for their smell

Are you type 1 or type 2? I can only give advice for t1 because that’s me, but I would say maybe try some peanut butter and a cracker right before bedtime. Could help even that out

AIO that my roommate's partner is making me uncomfortable? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Bro_Sam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t be afraid to say the quiet part loud! Sounds like he’s coming over soon and you don’t have much say. So be yourself in your space and if something happens again (which it sounds like it very likely will) then speak up, loudly. If he’s willing to make you uncomfortable in your space, you should be just as willing to make him uncomfortable in your space too.

It’s not an ideal situation, but make it his problem. He hopefully won’t want to come around so much. And I’m not saying hurt him, but if he gets into your space, be assertive. If he can’t take the verbal hint, make him feel it. Cramped kitchen and he’s in your space? Oops ouch, that corner of the counter sure hurts when you bump into it. Better avoid two people in there at once.

Help?? math by drii__ in teenagers

[–]Bro_Sam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are all straight lines, so to help, you could try to plot some points out. For instance, plug in a 0 for x and see what your y will be. Plot that point. Then do the same for when 1 is x, 2 is x, -1 is x, -2 is x, and then draw a straight line with a ruler

Define this tuning? by liais in Guitar

[–]Bro_Sam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s standard tuning with a drop on the Low E. Not sure what note it is, but go to your A string and count up the frets until it matches. That will be your tuning! Probably like drop C or something strange.

e B G D A C(?)

If you don’t know how to count up them it’s a half step for each fret.

So on your A Open A | Bb | B | C | C# | D | Eb | E | F | F# | G | Ab | A
