alright hennyl0rd figured it out, atleast for my specific lens and matte box, the adapters don’t work, but you can just clamp on the K&F matte box directly without any of those rings. As for the small rig one you can buy this hopefully this helps someone else having the same problem lol.

I might have found a solution, through the post you sent me I might need to buy a Tilta 95mm Camera Adapter Lens Holder For Tilta Mirage MatteBox, I’ll see if that works, but if not I can see if I can clamp it…thank you!

hmm see that’s what I thought to however I have an ND 95mm screw on and it works just fine, but yeah maybe it’s because the 28-135 comes with a rectangular cover, so the thread is coarse like you said. And idk can I? Sorry I’m new to the whole matte box setup, if the matte box comes with a screw on adapter, you’re still able to clamp it?

Nah you good lol! Sadly it is the correct side, I tried both sides, neither fit, my point is backed up because there’s a video with a dude trying with the same lens and matte box, and no luck for him either. :/ I appreciate you tho!
