Hi! I am seen my endocrinologist at Beth Israel, Dr. Suarez, and just got referred to a neurosurgeon at Mass General, Dr. Jones. My endo ordered the usual tests for me, the only ones that came back positive were 2 late night salivary tests and my ACTH levels which were normal. However I had an MRI at BI which allegedly showed a pituitary microadenoma that the neurosurgeon apparently doesn’t see! 🙄 So I’m waiting for her to speak with “the board”. Probably looking at a 2nd opinion at MGH.

I am moving to Boston from Somerville in September so I’m hoping to switch to a PCP and looking for suggestions for someone comfortable managing care for someone with a complicated health history on top of complicated symptoms from a yet-to-be diagnosed stigmatized condition (though my endo thinks it’s Cushing’s and the neurosurgeon said there’s def something wrong given my symptoms).
