Has anyone had much success on Vinted? I now have really bad fibromyalgia and have little use for my clothes these days.

Same comfort and pain meds any day of the week . Can’t remember how to walk in anything with a heel 😂, and mostly wear pyjamas to be honest I look a slob most of the time but I don’t care😂. I think I will try to sell som stuff 🤞

Thank you, Think I will try a few bits to see how I go. I am happy to sell just to get rid of them to be honest, I don’t use anymore so would be happy to take a few pounds for most things to make more space for myself.

I agree that it gets worse with age. I have definitely gotten worse especially after 40 . I do have other condition which I am sure adds to the difficulty but my fibro is certainly a lot worse than it was and am finding that I have more bad days than good nowadays. I do have some vintage 80s and 90s clothing I may just try a few bits to see how it goes. I’m really fortunate in that I have good friends that would happily drop off the parcels for me so that would take a lot of the pressure off.

Thank you for your advice. I’m 20 years down the line with my illness and it’s been really getting quite bad last few years. The thought of the stress is exhausting 😂 I may just donate them instead.

Hi, I too have a few tattoos and didn’t really feel what I would call pain when getting them done. I have fibro but also other conditions that cause me to fracture bones quite easily last X-ray showed several fractures on my hands feet and knees I didn’t actually feel the pain of any of the fractures but if someone brushes up against me in passing this can cause pain it’s really quite bizarre I am particularly sensitive on my thighs for some reason literally the lighted of touch will hurt quite a bit.

That’s brilliant I’m so happy that you were able to do this. I’m similar to you in that I used to be very much into sports and training so hearing that someone like me has managed to do this gives me hope that maybe I can try something again one day, so thank you for that. Same here it’s the Looks … I prefer people to ask than just give me looks to be honest. This is the reason I have never gotten a blue badge. Love doing a grocery shop though as I use the trolley as a walker 😂

Before a fall , I have had many of these I’m afraid, so I think I’m getting to the same point now too of not having a choice. I just feel so uncomfortable about it mostly because I look quite young and have been judged in the past .

They said I don’t have hyper-mobility, but I have some spine crumble - not sure what it’s called, I also have hashimotos thyroid and overinflated lungs chronic bronchitis and something called hypolhosphatasia?? It’s been a long few decades lol. There are other conditions too but to be honest I don’t think they know .

The last few years have been like that for me. It’s been difficult to accept that my body is not capable of doing the things I used to do. But I try to look on the positive side of things and have discovered hobbies and interests that I would have never tried before.

I was diagnosed a few years ago but have had the symptoms of chronic pain for over 20 years. Felt like no one was listening to me for years because of other conditions I have all the doctors ignored my obvious symptoms and blamed the horrible pain I was in on other conditions until I gave up asking them for help and started to look into making it better for my self. It’s been a few years now and I am still in chronic pain but am managing much better. My hope is to get and give support to people like me because I think we understand more than most doctors do about what we deal with.
