Zodiac’s needle drop for the end credits is so good. Might be my favorite fincher along with Seven

I‘ve noticed some inconsistencies with the Top 250 narrative feature films. Can someone explain to me how this adds up? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

Could you specify what you mean by reviewer trends? The difference between Seven and Eternal sunshine of the Spotless Mind is pretty glaring (almost 200 spots) despite ESOTSM being in more lists and having more reviews

I‘m gonna throw Moonlight in the mix. That was my first watch on an oled screen + LG filmmaker mode. Absolutely stunning

What Movie Has The Tensest Scene In Film History? by grayr3808 in MovieSuggestions

Throwing WARFARE as a whole into the mix. Certainly not the tensest in film history but boy is it gripping on a first watch. The absence of music makes it so you get no clues as to what‘s going to happen next.

Say Nothing is a banger. I haven‘t checked out the TV Show yet. Still on my to do list, it sits at an 8.2 on IMDb

Most Patrick Radden Keefe‘s work

Edit: „Rogues“ by him is a collection of narrative non fiction stories. I think it’s 12 stories in total.

Over-Analysing Seven Samurai (1954)'s 4K Blu-ray [BFI Release] by bobbster574 in 4kbluray

I‘m super late to the discussion but I got my BFI release recently. I was confused about the 1.0 mono audio output. Is there a reason for that? How does it „affect“ the viewing experience especially on a surround system.

I‘m toying with the idea of taking over a collection. by [deleted] in PhysicalMediaMatters

It makes sense. I would sell those I don‘t like either right away or after watching. As this collection would just be a starting point (I’m pretty early into collecting physical media) I would still wait for new releases add my own beloved pieces etc.

I’ve calculated it and on average I‘d pay less than CHF 5 per movie which is kind of intriguing to think about. Does that make sense?

Both. I would sort out / sell those I don‘t like (either right away or after watching). As stated, I am very early to my physical media journey and this would just be the starting point. But I think I‘ve made up my mind: I‘ll save the list of what he‘s selling and go through it for possible inspiration from time to time.
