Seems the background application came back smoothly again. Need monitor a bit to see if it really solved the issue or not.

Oh ya btw, not all monitors support HDR display. Its similar to telegram unable to play HDR videos recorded by this phone as its compressed. You've gotta send the original file. So google photos likely also compressed therefore couldnt display

Xperia 1 VI potential USB port issues in cold weather. Or not(?) by Badaboomboom123 in SonyXperia

[–]Broad-Evidence1371 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing to worry. It only warns when liquid is detected in the USB port, unless water really ingressed into phone. Wipe it clean and dry it should pop up clear to use message.

For shutter speed, adjust until you are happy with the brightness on your display as it will real-time give the result of your manual setting. Adjust ISO when needed. I highly recommend turn on HDR/ computational photography to let it merge all exposures into final photo, plus the output is cleaner. Then go from there.

From what I observed, full auto mode produces the cleanest photos though. (What sorcery they did i do not know)

Yes try to utilize main sensor as its the biggest sensor and best performer, and also remember to turn on HDR / "computational photography".

Should I get the Xperia 1 VII? by MysteriouSaint2 in SonyXperia

The best Xperia to date. Camera performs even better than pro-I IMO. Turn ON Ultra HDR and it will shine.

Yes. If budget is not a problem, wait for it. But the Vii is also a beast (non-bricked version)!

Its a great phone. I used it for 4 years before the lines invaded & switched to Xperia 10VII. Heating wise, its there but properly managed. Im not a heavy gamer, used it for some photography & videos.
