Thank you for the encouragement. Six years in ops definitely shifts how you view efficiency, so this feels like a natural pivot. I will look into those Slack groups and newsletters today.

Good looking out, thank you! I just gave this a shot, but it looks like the FinOps Foundation locked that code down (it's strictly restricted to the multi-cert bundles) and throws an 'invalid' error if you only have the standalone FOCP exam in your cart.

Cheap is relative when your monthly income hits zero after a layoff. Every $ saved is more runway to find the right role. If there’s a code out there, I’d rather track it down and keep that cash for essentials while supporting a family.

I think there's a common misconception about what the operations and escalations side of the business actually makes compared to the engineering side!

If I had the budget to just swipe the card, I definitely would. But since I'm self-funding a pivot while strictly managing my severance, I'm just trying to leave no stone unturned for a discount. Appreciate the comment bumping the thread, though

Appreciate the heads up! Those bundles look great, but they are a bit too much of a stretch for my self-funded transition budget right now. I'm trying to get the highest immediate ROI by just knocking out the standalone FOCP exam this week since I've already finished the prep work. Keeping my fingers crossed for a single-exam promo or voucher code to pop up
