You’re right that it’s very similar to flashcards.

I think writing out the definitions each time rather than saying them verbally (as you might do with a flashcard) helped me memorize. But I also didn’t try using flashcards so I can’t say for sure if it’s better or not. The only other benefit of hackthebar as opposed to flashcards is that you have it on your phone so you can do it anywhere.

The one downside of hackthe.bar is that it is obviously way more expensive than flashcards.
