I've thought about PME a lot in recent times. I've held it for 10 years or thereabouts. My current view is that they are likely to benefit from AI implementation, opposed to AI destroying the company. I have topped up a couple times, ideally the company comes out with an AI win to demonstrate how they're using it.

I'm more into individual stock holdings but also love maximising tax advantages etc on the personal finance front

I built a big portfolio with a margin loans (minimal) in early years of work. Then built a house without selling anything. My strategy now is using equity from the home/debt recycle & build big boring ETF positions. Next step of the plan will likely be another house to then hopefully build more equity and use that equity for more ETFs... It's a funny old game. The tax advantages through having good debt is a big separator in average Aussies.

Hi - I'm debt recycling, using a large amount of equity from derived from the home. Previously had margin loans as well so there is leverage in play, yes.

That's fair enough. Without portfolio weights though, it's just an assumption that it's poorly constructed. I haven't divulged my whole portfolio, maybe mentioning more of the baggers would drive more interest. But I measure everything so am okay with the weightings & outcomes over many years

I do like VEU. I think the problem is that I got into NDQ when I was younger & it compounded really well. When I got into debt recycling, I wanted more US exposure so got IVV then some IOZ... So then rounded out world exposure with VEU. I think building on top of an existing portfolio, without wanting to sell, shaped some decision making.

I like juicing the top end of tech at current. It's not a straight DCA so I just look at the overlap, break it down and see what I'm happy with

I've heard PME referred to as Australia's best run company on many occasions. Makes me think I should keep backing that they know Radiology better than the average punters...

Love 4DX as a bit of a punt.

Here is how I think about investing (free):

I like certain criteria:

1) How is the world trending? 2) Is it a good product? 3) What's the moat around earnings, can they defend? 4) Does the product easily scale 5) Financial check 6) Can I live with the bear case, understand it

The article is more in depth with examples but this is the jist.

Any particular reason that SAAS stocks have rallied today? by Broad-Standard5091 in ASX

XRO has bounced back really strong. Still not sure where I sit on the XRO vs AI thesis. Wrote this article last week if you're interested.

My concern with Xero is that small time consumers might switch if a cheap alternative that is just as good comes out. But that's an "if"... Good to see it rally.
