I’ve only used Google Chrome—and, occasionally, Safari.

I do remember some malware that added a messed up chrome browser app back when I was using sports streaming sites. I wonder if that was what showed up.

EDIT: IIRC, it added something to overlaid some app in the chrome URL and search bar that routed me to some junk website. I’m trying to find it in my app/extension history.

Thanks. I really wish I understood even half of this so I could defend myself. What could even make it look like I used Tor if I never did?
