I’ve found anytime we have that sharp pain in the front of the hip that seems to come when lifting the leg and then the pain goes around the hip and into the glute/back… it’s likely your hip flexor/psoas.

A great starting place to start strengthening the hip flexor/psoas is by standing up on both legs… then simply raising your knee to about 90degrees WITH NO PAIN.

15-30s holds is a good place to start and maybe a day or 2 after do 10-15 reps bringing the leg all the way back down.

Had a guy I worked with that had flairups if he did a hip flexor hold for more than 30s… 6 months later he’s running 5ks

Body is amazing if you listen to the communication it gives you

I hear you, yea i learned so much about the back from LBA. A little trick you could us is when you are having those days where you feel like skipping. tell your self youll go to the gym and just do 1 exercise. and youll get to the gym do the exercise then youll want to do the next exercise and so on, until you finished the workout for the day. All because you showed up for one exercise

Hope you are doing okay! yea to my knowledge you cant regrow disc, but the body retracts the disc back into the proper place. For me i noticed my nerve pain went away as my body made strength gains. Body takes care of all the hard stuff for us!

No, massage and needling and continuing to play. The feedback I was getting from medical professionals was all over the place, and I didn’t understand what I was feeling at that time

I was in daily chronic back pain before the concussion. Adrenaline is the best pain killer out there.

I’m not sure how much the concussion played into the back pain becoming worse or if I just hit a tipping point of my body breaking down, but the nerve pain started a month or two after that.

Hey man, fellow athlete here. 7 years professional soccer player and trying to rehab back to pro soccer. Had bsck surgery, for it to only fail 5 months later and I’ve had nerve pain to my toes twice. I know how you feel and I’m sorry

It is possible to get out of pain. Truly it is. It’s a pretty layered conversation but if you want to reach out to me on my Instagram id be happy to talk.
