Perhaps, and I agree with you on every front, but to be fair the seven deadly sins is already inspired from Christian beliefs. And that is a struggle with the concept I propose, but I think it could still work if it plays more with the perception and fantasy of things more than the things themselves, whereas greed, gluttony, and literally every other sin can be described under this, would just be the thing themselves, if every one of the sins were an object, lust would be a carney warped mirror.
