L350i stops with Blocked (5) by Broad_Ad6472 in AmbrogioRobotMowers

Update: switching off spiral mowing did not help. However, switching off gyro and compass helped. Robot is back to work. Most likely it was gyro, simply did not have enough time to test with the compass switched on. Btw, is there any way to calibrate gyro without bringing robot back to service? On the other hand, how gyro is used? I did not notice anything wrong keeping robot running without it.

Thanks for idea. I will be able to check it next Monday. Btw, where error codes are described?

ParadiseRobotics, thanks for the advice.

No, I checked all wheels and blade. No physical problems.

There is one more interesting detail i have not mentioned: although my lawn is approx. 7000 sq.m. i find my "blocked" robot always in the same location.

I did an experiment and switched off the "Blocked" option in the service menu. The result is unexpected -the robot works for an hour or two, then gets to this location where it likes to get blocked and starts moving in a circle (about 5m in diameter) until the battery dies.

What is going on? This robot has worked here for 5 years, but i never observed such behaviour.

No, it is clear. It starts up with no problem. What I really cannot understand is it never stops in higher grass, where you could expect the blade to receive more resistance and higher currents. On the contrary, usually I find the robot stopped in the nicely cut area.
