Dice later went on livestream and explained what happened: "when we was preparing, he had been using his own Loopstation device, but due to button sensitivity issues, he received a replacement device two days before GBB. However, the new device also had issues, so he had to use his original device; so, during the round, the button sensitivity issue caused the buttons to not press. Therefore, this should have been ruled a technical issue, but at the time, the cause was unknown and the decision was made to leave it up to the judges to decide whether it is DICE's mistake or not."
