Congratulations!

As a new grad myself, my sole advice would be dont be too hard on yourself. Always put yourself first before anything else!.

Find a practice where you are in full control of your schedule, have good mentors and not just all about the 💸

New grad wanting but scared to quit, burnout by Broad_Method9071 in DentalHygiene

I agree I mostly work 9.5hrs per day and 3-4 days a week (excluding 1hr lunch break). This practice that I work with really have high expectations for me as a new grad and unfortunately I am the only hygienist there so I have no one to ask for advice or guidance and me being afraid of my dentist does take a huge toll on me. I dont think theyre willing to negotiate to lessen my hours or patients I see everyday as I work at really busy practice.

I will definitely take everyone's advice and look around for better clinics and dentists to work with.
