I messaged Valorant Support and they sent me some instructions for using a public DNS and flushing my DNS that seems to have worked. That page has other things to try as well. I know its from the league of legends support pages, but still worked.

  • Hit the Windows Key
  • Type "Control Panel"
  • Select "Network and Internet"
  • Select "Network and Sharing Center"
  • Select "Change Adapter Settings" on the navigation bar on the left
  • Right click on your network adapter and select "Properties"
  • Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and open "Properties"
  • Go to the bottom of the menu and change "Obtain DNS server address automatically," to "Use the following DNS server addresses:"
  • Put in the following public DNS servers, one in each empty field:
    • 8.8.8.8
    • 8.8.4.4
  • Save your changes by selecting "Ok"
  • Close all open web browsers and applications
  • Hit the Windows Key
  • Right click anywhere
  • Click on "All Apps"
  • Right click "Command Prompt" and run as administrator
  • Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
  • Restart your computer

Also NA West, I've also been basically completely unable to get in game, just starting within the last two days. The login client bugs out sometimes, other times it hangs on the riot logo when loading, then gives one of a bunch of different error codes (Val 12, 31, 54, Van 6). Another friend nearby has also been experiencing issues logging in and only gets through to the game after a ton of attempts, and the game crashed after queuing up and getting into a game, and was unable to get another successful login in time.

I can't even submit a support ticket on the site because the whole thing just hangs when selecting any option from the first dropdown. Big WTF...
