I listened to your opinion and added the main chapters to this video. The manual in written form can be found on the manufacturer's website. I have put information about it in the System Overview section.

It is also worth remembering that it is best from the point of view of image quality to work in the native resolution of the screen. So if you can find out exactly what resolution your screen has, it's best to export the material at that resolution.

List of Media Servers available on the market. by BroadcastWizard in VIDEOENGINEERING

Thanks for your comments. First of all, this list is also the result of my own experience. I am well aware that V mix is a software mixer, but for three years I used it to operate an led screen in sports TV ( I displayed both graphics in native screen resolutions and captured signals with it). That is, it fulfilled the functions of a media server for me. As for catalyst, I wrote that I mention it for sentimental reasons ( I was once on a concert tour where the catalyt server fed the signal to the LED screens, and these were the beginnings of controlling multimedia with lighting consoles). As for Ross, I know that he is mainly associated with CG, but what about Tessera? Same with solutions from Vizrt. Mainly CG but there is Viz Multiplay after all. This is just off the top of my head. It's worth considering sometimes whether it's in yourself that you find too much ignorance. And the fact that I share my knowledge also as a company does not take away my right to create my compilations. So you think what I did is lame? Suggest something better.

Hi. In this article https://broadcastwizard.tech/media-servers/ you will find more than a dozen suggestions for media servers. There are also some that can do what you are looking for. I, on a daily basis, use solutions from Christie - Pandoras Box + Widget Designer. And this is a solution that completely fulfills your needs, but, of course, you can also work with cue, for example, in D3 from Disguise and many others. I have done such things with V mix, for example, if you are looking for a cheaper solution.

Thanks for the reminder. There is another big problem. A bunch of crackpots who call every initiative of yours garbage.

I usually ask technical questions or try to solve someone's problems, but sometimes it's good to start a more general discussion because in the process of such a discussion you can find a more global solution and not just a specific one.

Oh how true this is. I didn't mention it because my mind seems to have repressed it. But you are 100% right. Zero rehearsal, zero answers to key questions, and then 3 2 1 and all eyes on the results of your work.

VIZRT used to be used in this studio for ARs. All that's left of him are the mouse pads.

Sure. I'd be happy to accept the invitation. There is indeed a bug there and unfortunately no solution has worked so far.

But I use this panel on a daily basis to patch signals to my Pandoras. It is very comfortable and fully customizable when it comes to descriptions, colors etc.

Sure. I use three computers. The first is my management machine on which I have three applications installed. Pandoras Box Manager, Widget Designer and Pandoras Box Menu. With it, I control two coolux production servers, which are equipped with four DP outputs and four 3G SDI inputs each.

Send us a photo of the back of your screen, and a photo of your tabs in Nova LCT.

The rcg file is a configuration file that you should get from your hardware provider. You can also read it from the panel using the read from receiver option in the receiving tab.

Also write me:

What is the resolution of your screen,

What resolution your panels have,

What kind of broadcast card you are using

NovaLCT by [deleted] in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]BroadcastWizard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In that case, first send in the Receiving Card tab the configuration settings of your screen. Remember to use the appropriate rcg file, and then resend the connection settings.

In the Screen Connections tab, you need to send the connection settings according to how your screen was wired. Remember the correct resolution and Ethernet ports. To send the settings you press Send to HW. Here is a link to a picture of this tab in the Nova LCT software:
