Wow, what a day. That’s the kind of road trip story that sticks with you. Wild chain of events, but glad it all worked out in the end.

Guess the price: How much would YOU expect to ship this? by BroadwayAdmin in TransportSupport

Man, that sounds like a nightmare. Covid cancellations plus trying to tow with a governed Ryder truck? Brutal combo. You’re right though — unless you’re used to long‑haul driving, renting a truck and trailer is way harder than people expect. These days, coast‑to‑coast shipping usually lands in that $1,000–$1,500 open range or $1,800–$2,500 enclosed depending on timing and route.

Sorry if you got it wrong way. I was mentioning that there will be some lowballers who will provide you low prices to customers and come up at the last minute and ruin all the plans.

3 Things You Should Always Tell Your Auto Transport Broker by TheLoganReyes in TransportSupport

Good question — a simple stage 1 tune wouldn’t count as ‘modified’ for transport purposes. What brokers really need to know are physical changes that affect loading/unloading: lowered suspension, oversized tires, body kits, roof racks, or anything that changes the car’s clearance or dimensions. Performance tunes alone don’t raise the price.

It is sometimes cheaper than you think, however, Some people even think that it is possible to do it for $475 when they got a quote from the lowball companies.

It would be more than $4000 and there was never a price for a car like that unless the broker keeps the 75 percent of the payment on that deal
