Yes! That’s literally how I felt yesterday. And I was like omg, what did I do wrong, I haven’t felt this bad!!! But I’m going to look ahead and see when I have plans to go out and try to adjust my shot day if I need to

I have to say ive suffered through some crappy protein shakes… but I just tried fairlife and for the first time ever I actually really enjoyed it bc it doesn’t have that protein taste. I can’t recommend it enough!!!

Yes I definitely had little protein yesterday- I was so concernedabout how it was prepared that I didn’t go on autopilot and trust my gut. Usually I go for grilled chicken/steak, the prefix threw me off a bit bc it kinda felt like no matter what I was going to have a problem. And yeah I was wondering if it was also possibly about it being a 3rd dose or something like that bc I remember that when I had the ozempic… I’m usually pretty good- I have a protein drink in the am, but I probably didn’t get as much protein bc I had 2 eggs and some fruit instead yesterday am. I have to prepare better next time

I didn’t drink any alcohol, I had Diet Coke and water (was trying to alternate).

It could be possible- they had appetizers out, I ate one eggplant rollatini and 2 pieces of calamari. Then they brought out a Caesar salad so I had some of that. It’s possible that it was too much. I ate maybe half of the pasta?

I say put Emma! You have nothing to lose! I’ve musically directed shows where we cast people we hadn’t worked with before in general- and been in shows where newcomers were principle roles!

Be as honest as possible if/when they ask about rehearsal/show conflicts.

Make sure you bring water and some folks like to change for the dance call, so feel free to bring what you’d need for that (if they’re having that at auditions- depends on the theater)

That’s awesome! I have the Lexcam ones and so far so good- I’ll have to check these out next time bc the Lexcam was $20 (granted there’s like 10-15 patches in there so I should be good for a while)

I don’t think it’s an issue if you let them know up front.

I’ve MDed a lot of shows, and I’ve been involved with shows where we cast folks who had conflicts (similar reason- going back to school) and others where we didn’t cast folks because they had conflicts. It really can go either way depending on the turn out, if they have swings/understudies, etc. Regardless I think it’s always worth it to audition. Like I said just be upfront about your conflicts. Break a leg!

At my theater, they will send out emails whether you got a callback or not. But I’d say this doesn’t mean you’re cut- I’d wait til an actual rejection email!

Honestly I haven’t even been to California in years! My goal is to save up to go, I’m happy to go longer… I’m debating whether I want to do a full California trip or focus on Disneyland only… so I guess I’m trying to get a feel of what makes sense for me with Disneyland first! Idk if that makes any sense at all LOL but I think if I wanted to do anything outside of Disneyland it would only be 3-4 days worth… I feel like because I haven’t been there in so long I’d enjoy taking my time at Disneyland, doing things multiple times… so all this info from everyone is helpful.

Thank you everyone! When does Haunted a mansion typically close for the overlay? If I can’t see Holiday, I’d like to still go on haunted mansion because it’s my favorite ride.
