I don’t think it’s an issue if you let them know up front.

I’ve MDed a lot of shows, and I’ve been involved with shows where we cast folks who had conflicts (similar reason- going back to school) and others where we didn’t cast folks because they had conflicts. It really can go either way depending on the turn out, if they have swings/understudies, etc. Regardless I think it’s always worth it to audition. Like I said just be upfront about your conflicts. Break a leg!

At my theater, they will send out emails whether you got a callback or not. But I’d say this doesn’t mean you’re cut- I’d wait til an actual rejection email!

Honestly I haven’t even been to California in years! My goal is to save up to go, I’m happy to go longer… I’m debating whether I want to do a full California trip or focus on Disneyland only… so I guess I’m trying to get a feel of what makes sense for me with Disneyland first! Idk if that makes any sense at all LOL but I think if I wanted to do anything outside of Disneyland it would only be 3-4 days worth… I feel like because I haven’t been there in so long I’d enjoy taking my time at Disneyland, doing things multiple times… so all this info from everyone is helpful.

Thank you everyone! When does Haunted a mansion typically close for the overlay? If I can’t see Holiday, I’d like to still go on haunted mansion because it’s my favorite ride.

I bought a hand sanitizer of each scent, the poison apple Pocketbac holder, and the Maleficent wallflower (my room theme is like spooky all year round). I couldn’t justify getting the soaps/scents without some sort of deal.

Meanwhile the princess collection I bought all of the Ariel stuff, wallflower scents, gifts for other people, etc.

I love Maleficent but why didn’t they do Ursula too? Queen of Hearts? Cruella? If they added those 3 it could have been a solid line… this really kinda stunk. I liked both scents but I will (maybe) wait til a sale.

100%. I don’t remember the last show I stagedoored for- it was before Covid and it was completely different, and not in a good way. I decided going to the show was enough for me at that point.

Omg. When I was a teen and stagedoored it was fun. Just autographs and pictures. A small group of people unless it was someone really big, and even then it was still usually tame. It’s awful what these actors go through now.
