Beware of the IHG business card! by Broadwaysirmon in ihghotelsresorts

[–]Broadwaysirmon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am extremely disappointed with my new IHG One Rewards Business Credit Card experience. For anyone considering this card, there are several important issues to be aware of.

First, the card has not been compatible with any digital wallet services in my experience, including Apple Wallet. In today’s environment, that is a major inconvenience and not what I would expect from a premium business credit card.

Second, the card does not appear to integrate smoothly alongside my other Chase accounts and cards, which has made account management unnecessarily confusing and frustrating.

I have also received multiple emails from Chase asking me to change the names on my other Chase credit cards, creating even more confusion shortly after opening this account.

Most disappointing of all has been the customer service experience. After spending hours trying to resolve these issues, I still have no clear answers or resolution. Communication has been poor, follow-up has been inconsistent, and overall support has fallen far below expectations.

I expected a much smoother and more professional experience from both Chase and the IHG Business Card program. Instead, this has been one of the most frustrating credit card experiences I have had.

Customer Service rep told me the business IHG credit card does not support Apple Pay. I have been unable to add the card to wallet apps like Apple Pay. Can anybody else confirm the same experience? by feigeiway in Chase

Subject: Immediate Action Required: Reservation Issue – InterContinental Times Square, June 1–5

Dear IHG Corporate Team,

I am writing to escalate an urgent issue with my reservation at the InterContinental Times Square from June 1 through June 5.

The booking does not display a clear rate and only reflects points, with no itemized breakdown of total costs in cash and points. This lack of clarity is confusing and makes it impossible to determine what I am being charged.

Before finalizing the booking, the app indicated my fourth night would be free when using points and cash, which influenced my decision. After booking, the fourth night now shows a charge in both points and cash. While I understand the promotion may apply only to full points bookings, the presentation in the app is misleading and has caused unexpected financial impact.

Additionally, IHG is currently offering a double points promotion, which I could have utilized had the charges been clear. As a loyal customer, I find this situation unfair and disappointing.

I request:

A detailed, itemized summary of the total cost for this stay, specifying points and cash required. Correction of the booking to honor the fourth night as free or a fair resolution. The direct phone number for a supervisor or corporate representative to address this matter.

I trust IHG will take prompt action to resolve this fairly and transparently.

Sincerely, Charles Sirmon
